I'm a UX designer with a background in industrial design.
I believe design = problem solving.
I strive to make clean and simple experiences to the tune of "less, but better."
I grew up mostly in Seattle, lived in Paris and Geneva thanks to my European father, and went to college on the east coast before circling back to the PNW.
I started designing user experiences for the physical world.
In 2013 I received a BFA in Jewelry + Metalsmithing from the Rhode Island School of Design where I explored the user's (or wearer's) interaction with the product.
I expanded to furniture design to further study the user-product relationship.
My love of user centered products--both physical and digital--led me here. I believe our interactions with technology are the most significant user-product interactions, and I want to design what's most useful for people.
I'm currently working in the Identity Design Studio at Microsoft where I take on design challenges in Azure Active Directory.
